I've been in and out of bands for years. I play drums, guitar, and sing. Currently playing guitar and some vocals for a band, but we don't have any recordings right now. Here's a song my friend (read: bassist) and I recorded last year, though:
I actually did everything but the vocals in that recording.

Is this supposed to be patronizing or helpful? Before you correct my spelling, remember I am Australian and we often use 'S' instead of 'Z'

It's certainly not helpful because that's a pretty common turn of phrase, and it's not as if the meaning isn't apparent.

wow! i was only remarking on the fact that i do not own my band. if anything, my band owns me.
