Unknown Pleasures, Closer, and Still, collector's editions, in both vinyl and CD...they're worth it...a 2nd disc of a full concert w/each, great liner notes, and new photos

i think i just spooged.

yup, i did.

although, i was never left wanting usually with their productions (though i'm very curious to hear the new results). but a bit off topic, i'd give my left testicle to get some Fugazi remasters. new mastering on some of their shit would make my head just asplode.

thanks for the heads-up, Casso, my brother.

Just received word that my order of Unknown Pleasures and Closer Remastered & Expanded is in the mail. Looks like come Monday will be one not to hate.

does the remastering tinker with that beautiful cold-steel Martin Hannett production?

not that I can tell...though Isolation sounds a bit different...Sumner, Hook, and Morris were in charge of the remastering

They remasters actually sound really good. The music on Unknown Pleasures, particularly, jumps outta the speakers and the separation is excellent. The live disks are mediocre and one of them is actually a repeat from the Heart & Soul box.
