I've been a member of emusic for awhile now. They have a pretty good selection of stuff. It's only $10 a month if you sign up for a whole year. I've downloaded probably 400 discs from there, maybe more. And the best parts.....
1. Everything is labeled properly....
2. Good quality tracks.....
3. The entire song is there, it doesn't cut out half way through.....
4. You can d/l the entire album so no more finding 11 of the 12 tracks and never finding that last one.

i love eMusic!
i've downloaded about 11GB so far and it shows no sign of slowing down. there are some pretty good indie labels including temporary residence wink
i'm really digging the yazoo/shanchie stuff, the ethiopiques compilations and the old jazz like sidney bechet, charlie christian and django. check out the louisiana hayride stuff too. really nice!

I didn't like eMusic, but I haven't tried some of the others. They didn't have half the music I was looking for. Another one that I have tried and enjoy is allofmp3.com. Its a site out of Russia, and runs about $15 per 1.5 gig of material.
