Steve Burns from blues clues in my town tonight

hmm.. I might just have to go to say I went. I heard it on the radio, it's nothing special, but it's kinda like going to the final kiss farewell tour, just to say you were there....

I saw him in Houston a few weeks ago, opening for Starlight Mints, he kicks some major ass, i had never heard any of his stuff before and he rocked, great show, nice videos too. Derivative of flaming lips recent stuff but still it rocks real real hard. good fun

I went! and for a former children's show host, Steve Burns rocks pretty damn good. And OMG, I was like only 15ft away from Wayne Cohen!!
unfortunately, they haven't improved the sound system much from the old place; it's just 3 times larger.
I was talking to a friend of Steve's, who said he's been in OKC for a month recording with the Flaming Lips & the Starlight Mints. awesome job he's got, eh?

I'm not the hugest mints fan, but the new green door isn't bad. a couple weeks ago when we went to see stretch there was 400 people there, adn at the old place, if 400 people would have shown up, a hundred of them wouldnt hve been able to get in.
