i interrupt this post to say....i just hit my 666 post...so here's a song that i shouldn't love, but i do...i really do.

MOTLEY CRUE
SHOUT AT THE DEVIL

He's the wolf screaming lonely in the night
He's the blood stain on the stage
He's the tear in your eye
Been tempted by his lie
He's the knife In your back
He's rage
He's the razor to the knife
Oh, lonely is our lives
My heads spinnin' round and round
But in the seasons of wither
We'll stand and deliver
Be strong and laugh and

Chorus:
Shout-shout-shout
Shout at the devi He'll be the love in your eyes
He'll be the blood between your thighs

And then have you Cry for more
He'll put strength to the test
He'll put the thrill back in bed
Sure you've heard it all before
He'll be the risk in the kiss
Might be anger on your lips
Might run scared for the door
But in seasons of wither
We'll stand and deliver
Be strong and laugh and

thanks...back to your regularly scheduled thread.

umm....that song was never terrible and it's a hip hop classic mad ....oh, and anyone who doesn't like it should be gutted biggrin

Oh, it's fantastic, without a shadow of a doubt. But it shouldn't be good. Children's TV show sample, preposterous lyrics where nothing actually happens... It just seems to be brilliant despite all this.

I like the bit when Doug's DJs Chill WIll and Barry B have a go at him for forgetting the date of their gig. "Man, you did it again? OH NO!"

Actually, if you want to hear a fantastic song, try Like An Angel Passing Through My Room, the last song on the last Abba LP, The Visitors. It makes Joy Division sound like The Bloodhound Gang - it's heartbreaking.

I can't go for that (no can do) by Hall & Oates.

Actually, I pretty much celebrate this bands entire catalouge. Sincerely and without irony. My band's gonna splinter into a Hall & Oates cover band called, The Private Eyes. We're going to slay san jose.
