Please tell me that I am not the only one here who likes jam to old school stuff of the soul, low rider, cruising, r and b variety? Maybe I'm not old school, and am just old surreal

Stuff like Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam, Zapp and Roger, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Ohio Players, the Gap Band, Sly and the Family Stone, every early 80's rap tune like Roxanne, Roxanne, etc?

Edited to add, yes, and that stuff too, the "doo-wop" and songs like "I'm Your Puppet" smile

When I think of lowrider music, I think of old, old, old school stuff, like Thee Midnighters, Cannibal & the Headhunters and doo-wop like Shep & the Limeliters....

Don't necessarily like the pld school tunes. I'm more interested in hearing Dr Dre in my G ride, but here she is.

Does that count?
