MTV VJ Sway said during the post-show that he saw Kid Rock walk up to the Motley Crue drummer, who was sitting next to Diddy, and "deck him." The incident was confirmed by Palms Hotel and Casino public relations representative Larry Fink.
Yeah, yeah I know. An oxymoron for a station that doesn't even promote music anymore. "Why the hell are you watching it?" Back then the awards show was about the performances, so I wanted to see that or see how bad it would tank.
First was Britney. Horrible. She lip synched. She was outta rhythm with her dancers. She looked over-weighed and she wore extensions. FOO FIGHTERS, Kanye West and FALL OUT BOY in separate rooms was crap. I fell asleep and never got to the ending.
Somebody shoot Mtv and take 'em out of their misery.
