You know now that you were way, way ahead of all the other kids in your high school.

My total sorority ex-girlfriend actually stole my Motorhead shirt I had since high school...

And she was propably the type to make fun of kids for wearing the same shirt years ago. puke

Man, I listened to Motorhead back before I had any punk or metal at all. I took one look at Bomber in the record store and said, "Okay, I'm buying that."

MisterSatan knows how I feel about the first album and the Larry Wallis demos cuz I sent a copy to him. They are tied with early Sabbath as My Absolute Most Favorite Metal Ever, hands down. You can get the Wallis demos on an out-of-print CD called On Parole, and I had 'em on a vinyl album called Born to Lose.

No Remorse was great album too; nice double-best-of-compilation bound in leather.

They put on an awesome show when I saw them a few months ago. High on Fire kicked ass too.

thank you for this thread! they've been one of my faves for over 20 years now. i really miss the days of fast eddie, even brian robertson. there new stuff is okay, but the last album i really dug was 1916. lemmy is such a blue blood. just don't throw a bottle at him. he don't like that.
ps: i didn't, but i was there.

Motorhead was my very first nightclub - the kind of nightclub you were supposed to be 21 to get into - show back in 1980 at the Old Waldorf in SF. Quiet Riot (with Randy Rhoades on guitar) opened.

My direction in life, and my hearing, changed significantly that night.

You know I'm going to lose
Cause gamblin's for fools
But that's the way I like it baby,
I don't want to live forever

and don't forget the joker....

Get ready to feel jealous...

I just got back from seeing Motorhead at the Whiskey!
It was so awesome. I totally spazzed out during Ace of Spades and R-A-M-O-N-E-S. God, so awesome.
