The folks in Boulder I'm sure could give LA a run for your money when it comes to Ruining performances...as long as the tickets are under 30 bucks any asshole willing to pay 6 dollars for a bud light will be there, chatting away and paying the band absolutely no attention. And if they are fans and know the songs they will sing drunkenly and loudly with every single one...and no matter how big a fan they are, they always get the words wrong.

Paul's Boutique is the best album by far...shame some people have never even heard of it, let alone experienced it.

What the fuck? They don't do Fight For Your Right live anymore?

And if you think traffic at the Greek is a nightmare - see a concert at the Forum or Staples Center. Especially fun if you drive a stick.

Gerry would be correct.

Agreed. Wasn't it made in LA too? Or was that Check Your Head?

LA sucks balls! That's why I left for Portland. My cost of living went down and my quality of living went up. And the asshole ratio here is much much lower. We party to party and have fun to have fun, unlike LA, who parties to network, or scout for their next porn venture. Ew.

I saw Beastie Boys live back in June & they were kicking ass until a bunch of assholes decided to break into the venue & cause mayhem. Beastie Boys had to stop playing ( no encore, no sabotage & Underworld (the next band) never got on stage.
Maybe sometimes its a good thing the crowd is in slumber? It would certainly piss me off to see no one moving a limb, but at least you got to see the whole gig.

You are not the only one. How can these middle aged men still call themselves "boys"?

I think you are all being presumptuous. It was a great show and they were tight and fun... then again, i resemble a 40 year old frat boy.

I saw them in Boston. The night after Adam Yauch's B-day. My friend gave my a ticket for my B-day. It was the first time I have seen them since Lollapaloza in, I think,1994 or 95. It was Awesome, but man do they look old. They are still great though.
