I have to join the club of ashamed rihanna fans, but despite the mixed bag of her singles, her first two albums contain some awesome reggae tunes! theres about six in total, all 90's tastic, with orchestra hits and amazingly rubbish casio synths. If anyone wants song titles let me know!

"Umbrella" sounds to me like she's having a seizure. And I'm convinced the song is a tool being used by our government or some secret underground organization to brainwash us all -- into doing what, I do not know yet. I'm working on finding out the answer to that question as we speak, even if it kills me. The song has made it's way into the deep recesses of my brain and is close to driving me insane. I have traveled to the far reaches of the globe in search of a cure for the insidious vocal repetition that now haunts me when I sleep.

Her voice sounds flat to me. Not very good live, although Umbrella and Shut Up and Drive are catchy.

She annoys the hell out of me. I genuinely can't see what the fuss is about. Umbrella was played non-fucking stop even though it's terrible, shut up and drive samples the crap version of Blue Monday, and I honestly don't see why people think she's so hot.

same for me. I kinda think this is the same formula where Janet Jackson tried to reach a different audience with "Black Cat." I like how she tries to look Alt. with the band and the polka dot dress in the video.
