I hadn't heard until now but now I'm listening to him and Nancy. May he rest in peace.

Great music, too bad he has left the planet. Some Velvet Morning...

I'm sitting here drinking a glass of Scotch, listening to Requiem for an Almost Lady and feeling suitably wry and laconic.

Sad. Such a great songwriter and badass voice.

Thanks for the killer clips, Pointblank.

RIP. "Some Velvet Morning" is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Sad sad news. His music will live for a long time, though.

RIP.

Damn. Another one gone. Now I have to pick a song for a tribute next show. Probably Some Velvet Morning. My friend Mary's band, Chameleon does "These Boots . . .," but she hates the song; but somehow I don't think she'll have to be coerced into singing it at their next gig.
