EXHUMED.

the new exhumed cd is actually really good...i never bought any of thier albums b/f this one, b/c they were so ridiculous..but this one is WAY better....the review i read likened it to carcass's "necrotism...." which is prob. one of my fav. metal albums...oh well..thats my 2 cents.

i think "Anatomy is Destiny" is easily the best of the bands career, you just can't go wrong mixing Carcass riffs with Slayer solos.
and they kick so much ass live

For some reason, they sound way too much like Cannibal Corpse to me. It's newer death, it's percussive, it's offensive, whoopie. Vital Remains beats them over in all departments, sorry. Check out Dechristianize - seriously.

I haven't heard the new Exhumed yet. I will definitely have to go check it out. But the new Fountains of Wayne cd Welcome Interstate Managers kicks fucking ass. It's not metal though. But it still gets a \m/(-_-)\m/ in my book.

I remember hearing stuff off of Slaughtercult. Rhythms were a mix of Cannibal Corpse style 'bounce' and Incantation from what I remember - not exactly original in any book. Demilich, now there's a death metal band with original rhythms.

well, regardless if it DOES sound like cannibal corpse...it all goes back to C A R C A S S god bless those english bastards!!!!
anyone who thinks they like metal, and doesnt know carcass, need to go back to school..word.
