No, I was simply saying that I feel that the absurdity of such a title is similarly fitting to Tool being hailed the Kings of anything. But take it how you like, doesn't change my opinion in any way.
Last time I checked though, I didn't have to justify my hatred of a band to anyone. I'm entitled to an opinion, and a feeling. I understand that you're passionate about them, but surely you can take a step back and dig that, y'know, some people just don't get it.
I fucking worship Ben Folds, but I wouldn't expect you to explain a hatred or dislike of him and/or his music to me, because I know that some people just don't get him/it. Fair enough. Live your life, enjoy the music you love, and move on.

Kings of Metal what? Fucking LOL. The reason I dislike Tool in general, and this is a stupid reason, is because my friends love it so much. They treat Tool like it's some kind of religious cult. I'm not that fanatical about anything. Anything my friends overplay or won't shut the fuck up about I end up hating.
Everyone else's taste in music sucks and there are a lot of bands/groups I listen to that others will think sucks. I don't like your selection of music but you won't like mine, and the other bands you like will make me think your opinion sucks. I can appreciate the fact that you have an informed opinion about it though.

Any band someone listens to at the exclusion of other music, or is overly evangelical about, tends to put me off. I still don't HATE anything, but as I've said before, I've had phases where I can't stand listening to something do to overplaying.
