Cakewalk

I'm curious if anyone here has experience with cakewalk music program, I borrowed a friends copy but he has long since lost the serial number. does anyone have a serial number or knowledge of how i can get one?

generally people who "borrowed a friend's copy" are encouraged to go to a music shop and purchase the software.

I am nothing close to a professional, I just want to see if i can work it before i spend money that would be wasted

most software companies offer free, limited-time/functionality downloads of their products for just those purposes.

go to their website and i'm sure you'll find one there.

asking for serial numbers on a non-warez type site is usually considered tacky.

To be fair, I don't think Twelve Tone generally offers demo software; however, a good swath of their software is aimed at the "nonprofessional," so your comment is possibly a little disingenuous.
