it is kinda vague where the pit starts and ends.

if they have video from the 'scared pussy' point of view, i think things would be clearer.

I've often wanted more of the 'scared pussy' point of view with a lot of things in life.

Sick of it All ala 1994 was the best circle pit I was ever in. Very nice circle pits no trampling. Everyone watching everyone elses back. I guess thats what they mean by "family".

Sick of it All I think have probably had a lot of circle pits that would completely dwarf this devildriver pit, although they all likely happened before we had phones with cameras.

I remember one particularly insane 'wall of death' at a sick of it all show... huge 20 foot gap between both sides. lot of trampling went down, very very scary for scrawny 16 year old me, but living to tell about it made it all worth it.

I was there. It was a lot of fun. But I couldnt help thinking to myself, am I too old for all of this? Yeah, it was fun and all that, but I wasnt feeling that.....er...grrrrrrrrr. thing that you're supposed to feel at a metal show. My thinking was more along the lines of "where was that place that sold the realy nice coffee? Was it under the dunlop tyre, or next to the hair styling salon (very metal BTW)." Anyways, it was a lot of fun, if you like that kind of thing

I saw pits at the Olympic Auditorium back in the early 80s that would put that lame shit to shame. And those were some seriously scary folks in those pits.

Here I'm just poking a little fun at Devildriver fans, as that's a style of metal I don't particularly care for. If you love 'em, rad...

...*cries* I don't think I've ever been so offended in my life. Seriously go look at my website and understand just how much that hurts... *weeps*

Im busy watching Watain dump goat skulls and blood on an audience.

Git. They didn't so much as throw a dead mouse at us in Oslo, the Black Metal capitol of the world, and you get skulls AND blood!?

As for pits. Well I hate 'em personally (something to do with being really scrawny) but the Wall of Death I was involved in when seeing Labrat support Decapitated in Nottingham back in 2003 was fun, 70 of us in the upstairs of a pub...fun times!

Actually that was just wishful thinking on my part. Their tour never hit the west coast, though I would have loved to see them. The blood and skulls were at the Cleveland show I think... the pictures looked delightfully grim.

Yeah, didn't you hear: Rappers all shoot each other, country musicians all fuck their sisters, new age musicians are all gay, and us metalheads are all cro-magnons!

Now let's be fair here. Country musicians fuck their cousins too.
