MUSIC: Lady Sovereign Offers Up New iTunes EP

With months of drama stemming from various incidents at a handful of live appearances, it seemed that any news about a new Lady Sovereign release would occur far in the future, if at all. To tide fans over until the next time Sov can find her way into a studio, the Lady just released a new iTunes-only EP entitled Those Were The Days.



On the 4-track digital set, fans can expect to find a pair of remixes, a live recording and an acoustic version of tracks on the UK rapper's Public Warning album. So, while there's nothing new here, at least the Lady realizes someone out there is still listening.

Of course, if the bored, wealthy and morbidly curious among you are interested in potentially seeing a public nervous breakdown, the Notorious SOV is still out on the road supporting Gwen Stefani at enormous venues around North America. The cities with two listings indicate where Sov will be hosting local afterparties. Aw yeah.
