I love Cradle and Opeth.

There's another band based here in Charlotte called Wehrwolf (sp?) that is evidently made up of some of the guys from Nile. I haven't found 'em yet but haven't had much time to look. Basically I just want to know where they hang out!

-darkthrone.. true norwegian black metal....
-gorgoroth!!
-Isengaurd

Funny Cradle story. In July when they were in Indy for Ozzfest (me and the bro went. he's nuts about CoF) my friend Dani and her parents hung out with them. Apparently CoF likes to go to Wallmart and Appleby's when they're in the states, and my friend literally lives across the street from both. I guess they were both at there at the same time and hit it off. CoF ended up staying the night at said friend's house, and I have the photos to prove it. She called me the next day screaming about how she hung out with rock stars. I just laughed because she had no clue who they were. Crazy.

Anyway...not much into the stuff, but my brother's crazy about it. In terms of metal, I like bands like Opeth and Dimmu Borgir more... confused

You have given me more reasons why I should boycott Cradle of Filth. Thank you.

How is that a reason to boycott them?

Walmart is not tr00 - it is of false retail kind. Tr00 metal warriors shop at local grocery stories and small chains \m/

Cradle of Filth, Opeth, Dimmu Bling Bling = not black metal. About as non-True as one can get.

Darkthrone, Marduk, pre-1994 Mayhem (Maniac is a fucktard), Ulver, Limbonic Art, Barathrum = True Norwegian Black Metal (even though Marduk is from Sweden and Barathrum is from Finland)

CoF and similar bands have missed the point entirely.

as much as i dislike where mayhem has gone as of late, you have to admit that
"wolf's lair abyss" was pretty fucking cult. nowhere near "de mysterious dom satanas", but still good.

forgot to add the first Usurper e.p. to my earlier list...
