Inspired by Debra Jean's Throbbing Gristle thread, I did a search on the boards for this topic and didn't see anything...would any of you have any sites that you'd recommend for free streaming radio or internet radio stations?

Yahoo Music

yahoo's site allows you to customize the music you hear and hear new songs that fall within the realms of other things you like, it takes a bit to get it fined tuned but once you do its fantastic

Will be updated in the near future with whole lot more music...I've just been too busy to work on it lately.

I second that! Milkman Dan is the only DJ I can stand to listen to before 9AM.

I just started using this and really like it so far.

Update: If you don't subscribe to their service ($3/month or more) they cut you off from all the cool features after a few days. No skipping songs, no "my radio station," etc. frown

The best jazz station in the world is WBGO.

The best news station in the world is BBC World Service.

I also like Netscape radio. It's got an old school punk channel, a bebop channel, and everything else,

Also worthwile is

C-Span Radio 90
