i don't deny elvis' talent, but he had help from the packaging of the product and controversy over rock n' roll being "the devil's/black people's music" and white kids listening to it.

after an opiate/twinkie binge the same thing happened to me when i went out with sunglasses on...

they're both great artists.but roy orbison did write his own stuff it still is amazing, i don't think he is recognized as much for that. Elvis will always be the king, nobody put on a performance like him. NO ONE!!!!
