i'd like to add:
Tiger Trap

they really would've been huge if they hadn't broke up. in fact, that's the reason WHY they broke up, so i've been told. they kept getting more and more popular when they didn't want to be THAT big, and were tired of touring all the time.

i'm glad i got to see them before they broke up, though...

whoa. die kreuzen's first album was absolutely amazing hardcore, but they went metal like all of the boston bands and kinda started to suck... which period did you mean?
