Has anyone heard Eastern Youth, they did a split with Cursive that's completely amazing. Does anyone know if they have other albums?
Cursives new album (ugly organ) came out today and it is also amazing...

Eastern youth is fucking amazing. They have at least three albums. In fact, when I saw them they were supposed to be opening for cursive but the singer was having major lung problems so eastern youth became the headliner. A lot of people wanted a refund and didn't come but they missed an incredible show.
They have an incredibly tight rythm section and the singer is the little man who has the most incredible emotion on his face when he sings. They seem to speak very little english and they were very quiet and and serious when on stage. they have a level of discipline that you don't see in most punk-type music.
Despite the english name, all the lyrics and most song titles are in jappanese. But you don't have to know what they are saying because the emotion just comes through.
ok maybe I've gone on too long, but I just say enough good things about this band. they need some serious fucking US attention.
