Super Mario Cover Band

I am very bored just relaxing at home and I thought to myself, hey is there a Super Mario theme song cover band? That would be great, if anyone could get back to me with a link then that would be pretty damn cool. I've been searching but so far I came up with nothing

i think youre looking for the 'mini bosses' also, my friend made some really good mega man remixes.

The Minibosses haven't made a Super Mario Bros. cover. In fact, it's the major complaint of The Minibosses, that they are the preeminent video game cover band (moreover the preeminent NES video game cover band) and haven't covered its most popular game.

The Neskimos have, as have many other video game cover bands. If you've been searching and not come up with anything, you really haven't been searching very hard. That is, unless you've been searching here, and you know, not the rest of the Internet.

There's also an orchestral version floating around file sharing networks. I saw it credited to the Boston Pops. And you can find any number of people rapping over it.

The Advantage is another good NES cover band.

You should also look in to Mario Speedwagon.

No they're not. I wanted to like them, they have Hella's drummer, and Hella's drummer rocks, but they're too literal with their interpretations. It's not fun to listen to the exact same notes with instruments.

The Spoony Bards are a general video game cover band, and they do a lot of different Mario tracks, including the oft-forgotten Gameboy gem Super Marioland. One of their pianists does a huge Mario medley.
