The First CD You Ever Bought?

some time in the late 80's

Bob Marley “The Lee Perry Sessions” but it was on cassette (Cds did not come out until much later)

... well, the first *LP* I ever bought was the B-52s (yellow cover) ... this album changed my life !

First Album I bought for myself was Love at First Sting, on cassette, the week it came out. (ha ha I'm Old)

First CD I bought was Unwritten Law the self title album

First Vinyl I ever bought was S&M Airlines by NOFX, at their show when it just came out.

Pretty sure the first ones I bought were both by Sparta, Wiretap Scars and Porcelain. Up until that point I either listened to my brother's cassettes/CDs or got them as presents. Didn't have much need to have my own until he moved out.

If I recall the first album, on cassette, I ever purchased was Metallica's 'Master of Puppets'. I'm not sure that I recall exactly what my first CD purchase was, but I think it was probably Skid Row's self-titled album.

First record I ever bought was a Brownsville Station 45 "Smokin' In The Boys Room/Barefootin." back in 74 or so (I was in first grade!)


The first CD I got was the Misfits Collection that came out in 88 or so. I didn't even have a CD player yet!

OH! The Brownsville Station 45 didn't have a picture sleve!

sadly it was bon jovi. i actually kinda regret that one. not sure what i was thinking back then.
