for those moments in songs that just make you light up and feel alive

In Radiohead's "(Nice Dream)" when the band sings backup behind Thom 'If you think that you're strong enough/If you think you belong enough' in that wonderful harmony

In U2's "With Or Without You" when Bono lets out that primal scream and all that energy is released

The Pixies "Gigantic", when the guitars kick in after the first verse right before the chorus, with Kim chanting "hey paul, hey paul, hey paul, let's have a ball". The music just SWELLS during that bit. My other favorite moment is in New Order's "Bizarre Love Triangle" (the version off the first disc on "Substance"), towards the end of the song where the chorus is put through a vocoder, making it sound as though it was being sung by a choir of heavenly robots.

Guitar solo on Boston's "More Than A Feeling."

Guitar solo from single mix of Nirvana's "Pennyroyal Tea."

Last guitar bit to fade on R.E.M's "Harborcoat."

The "we're so pretty, oh so pretty" lines from the Sex Pistols' "Pretty Vacant."

David Byrne "Tiny Town," there's an instrumental break where the horn section takes over.

The second verse in the Clash's "I'm Not Down."

The five seconds of backup singers in Joni Mitchell's "Rainy Night House."

The opening moment of "The Funeral Party" by the Cure. So warm and analog.

In Meds by Placebo when the music really gets going and it is so fucking busy and just envelops you!

Yeah, I like that.
