Celebrating 25 years as a band, England's In the Nursery is proud to announce the completion of its latest album Era_out January 27, 2007.

Over the past two decades, In the Nursery's career has proven quite successfull. With more than a dozen albums and various film scores, the band's music has been included in the following soundtracks and TV shows: The Aviator, Interview with the Vampire, Along Came a Spider and The Rainmaker, as well as the La Femme Nikita TV series. Other projects include the notable "Optical Musical Series" (new scores for silent films) and two live tracks for the compilation Bach's Alternative Compositions on Historical Basics.

In the Nursery describes the soon to be released Era as an album that,

"explores the themes of architecture, urban decay and regeneration _encompassing ten new tracks of breathtaking power and beauty."

For fans of the ethereal dark side, you'll be excited to know that Sarah Jay Hawley, best known for vocals on Massive Attack's Mezzanine, also sings on this album_along with collaborators Dolores Marguerite and David Electrik. Era is a gothic, down-tempo, electronica treat for any moody individual. Check out the band's myspace page within the next week or so to preview the upcoming disc.

Tour is set for sometime in 2007. So keep a look out!

Cool. I'm not too up on in In The Nursery but loved the music in Vampire and the Nikita series and am definitely into Sarah's work with MA. We play Mezzanine sometimes before our shows and during breaks. And Teardrop fits so well as the House theme.

What a nice smile to kick off Thanksgiving!
