My coworker told me about www.gomusic.ru. It's a nice site out of Russia and sells everything. The songs are $0.15 apiece. The quality is great and the selection is unbelievable. You load up your cart and charge your credit card lump sums ($20, $30, etc.) at a time and download away. I freaking love it because of all the totally obscure shit I've been able to find.
Its cheap and around 2 dollars for an album and or varied by the quality you choose for the individual mp3s, most songs are around 20 to 30 cents a piece... and no DRM.
Or if nothing else there's always StarBelliedBoy's suggestion...
Gracias.

.....uhhh, oh. You mean legally. Well, sorry, can't help there. I only buy vinyl and CDs. Otherwise, SLSK. I'm actually more than a little surprised nobody has said it yet.
Most casual listeners don't realise the difference between lossless audio files and digital mp3 downloads. Even fewer view albums as enough of an artform to care about the complete package. We're a dying breed my friend, a dying breed.
Although the studies the RIAA likes to sweep under the rug show that a fairly large proportion of file sharers still buy albums from artists they like, or have discovered through downloading. Hell I've got multiple copies of several albums that I bootlegged to check out and then bought once I knew I liked it.
