I feel I should be honest here...I actually bought the 45 of this song when it first came out.

Surely one of the best.

When 2pac died.

November 3rd, 2006: My uncle forms a Three Dog Night "tribute" band, grows a bitchen mullet, buys marvelous technicolor dream-pants, and goes live on East LA public access channel.



Seriously, is there any reason at all for "Three Dog Night" and "tribute band" to exist in the same sentence? Won't the real Three Dog Night play bar mitzvahs and retirement parties for, like, fifty bucks and a six-pack?

See, it's a little bit music and a little bit personal, which makes the history extra special!

I only have two questions for Dictionary_Girl

1) Which one is your dad?

2) Will you marry me so that this band can play the wedding?

1.) My dad is the one on the couch with my mom and me, watching Thee Mr. Duran Show! in a state of shock and awe. My mom's little brother, however, is the tall one lead-singing very dramatically.

2.) Hell yes.

1) I'm not good at reading.
2) Legally Binding.

I haven't got the foggiest idea what they sound like, but they were called Fourmyula, and they were apparently the kind of band Austin Powers would have grooved to had he been in New Zealand instead of Swinging London.

You know, for a Three Dog Night cover band, they're not bad. Plus I like that song. It reminds me of Fear and Loathing whenever I hear it
