I was reading threads in the BEST GROUP ON THE WEB. And reading about Ashlee Simpson made me think of how many bad fake punks there are out there.
So I figured being the music enthusiasts we are, that we often notice band profiting by playing to the cliches of any given genre.(and find it irritating)
So this thread is to name bands that appall you for the following reason: profiting by claiming to be ____, garner much undeserved press, and have many fans who wouldn't know the meaning of____ (punk, jazz, meatal, ect, ect) if it was drilled into their ears.
So Ashlee and Avirle this thread is for you... go buy Fear the album and figure it out.
