Taggertrap, a device developed by TrapTec, Inc.., is a device used to alert authorities when a tagger attempts to spray-paint a surface and interface with GPS, cell phones, and existing security alarm systems. The device picks up the unique sound of the spray can when it is used. There are two units currently being sold to law enforcement, security, and the defense industries: a mobile and stationary unit.
TrapTec also makes devices that pick up firearm discharge, "unauthorized moments unique to foot traffic, off-road vehicles, or tunneling, and forced cockpit entries on airplanes.
