So, my mom teaches kindergarten, and the school she's teaching at is starting to lose kids. So she may end up losing a bunch of hours which of course means losing money.
I'm trying to figure out some ways to drum up some business for the school. Since I'm in web development, I thought I'd put together a website for the school and some apps to allow parents and teachers to exchange info/data back and forth about their kid's progress, and that sort of thing.
So my question to you is: how are you going about (or how did you go about) finding your kids' schools? Is it mainly word-of-mouth? Driving around the area and walking in to different schools? Google/The Web? Phone book? Picking names out of a hat?
Do you think a website is a good way to attract potential parents to check out the school?
