I love the show FRIENDS, But a movie really?

I can see it happening but it's a sitcom. Not really a drama/sitcom like Sex and the City.

You know X-Files 2 opens up in 3 weeks. But I really can't see FRIENDS working out.

There's a curse of sitcom show movies.

this is "friends" we're talking about. nowhere close to a good idea.

better then than now, is all I mean. I know there's a new X Files film coming out years after the show ended, but at least it's got a bit more cinematic potential than Friends could ever have.

Friends was the second most popular sitcom of the last 20 years, after Seinfeld. It was the fourth most watched series finale in TV history, after M*A*S*H, Cheers, and Seinfeld. Are you seriously saying it doesn't have a huge fanbase?

I'm not saying there should or shouldn't be a Friends movie. I'm not interested, I honestly couldn't care less. I'm saying your argument is flawed.

But unlike M*A*S*H, or Seinfeld, I'm not sure people actually give a shit about Friends anymore.

Yeah I just typed that with knowing the flaw. I guess I just thought of the 60's sitcoms made into movies a few year ago. And how they bombed.

Don't get me I know FRIENDS will get like 45 million in the box office.

I wish the same could be said for Sex And The City .... I'm just glad I don't have a girlfriend to drag me along to see it (some guys I know weren't so fortunate).
