For example, like the show Elvira did. Movie Macabre.

We had one in Central Florida. Can't remember the name of it. But this dude dressed up as a monster every week and hosted this show. It was on Saturday afternoons.

Great stuff. I remember a lot of Godzilla, Rodan and Mothra. And definately some early zombie stuff. Mostly B movies. Some A stuff from back in the day too.

Anyone else have a show like this?

In this area we had Creature Double Feature every saturday morning. It was a good day to be a kid when it was a double Godzilla day. That show was how I saw all of the classics.

I'm pretty jealous of the kids who grew up with Count Murray.

I'm on a Chicago-area program called The World of the Weird Monster Show. You can also find us on Youtube. Funny stuff.

I host the World of the Weird Monster Show here in Chicagoland. We air in about 50 northern Chicago suburbs and have been on for just about 5 years now. We show great--and not so great--old horror flicks and do sketch comedy. As she said, the very lovely and talented Salome as well as Gilli are cast members. Also, as Salome said you can see us on YOUTUBE but unfortunately that's just our segments, so you can't get the full experience with the movie and old trailers, etc that the viewers at home get.

As for me, I grew up on both Son of Svengoolie from Chicago and the fantastic Uncle Don's Terror Theatre from Rockford, Illinois. I swear I'd be a completely different person if I didn't have these shows and their steady diet of horror movies growing up.

I'm just thrilled to be able to be doing the same thing I loved watching growing up! smile
