Dude I got a hamster

I got a hamster and named him Niles. He's the cutest little guy ever, and his home is awesome. It has all kinds of cool tubing.

I'm sorry, but as a supporter of animal rights, I cannot and WILL NOT condone the tubing of your hamster.

When I was little, we seemed to get a new hamster like every month or two ... and for some reason we named them all Spencer. None of the Spencers lived a long full life - even by hamster standards - and all of them got buried out front in the flower garden. Whoever tilled that garden after we moved out must've thought we were Satanists or something ... anyway ...

Most of them died natural deaths, but one of them (Spencer 5 or so) ended up as a snack for our Irish Setter Seamus. When I was 7 or 8, I actually killed one of the Spencers. The little fucker bit ALL THE WAY THROUGH my pinky finger while I was petting him and I freaked and squeezed the bastard to death and threw him in the bathroom sink. I'll never forget that - it was quite gross.

Don't tell the PETA people, okay? I was just a little whippersnapper at the time, and that was my one and only rodent squishing incident (we're all entitled to one, right?).

When I first started going out with mean melissa, she bought two hamsters. She named one Nice Ryan and the other Mean Ryan. A few days later, Mean Ryan killed Nice Ryan. Shortly after that he commited suicide.

i had hamsters when i was younger, but i forgot all their names, i think ihad three of them or so (not at same time) in a 10 gallon fish tank

I've got a Siberian Dwarf hamster, and he does backflips. I'm told it's a form of hamster dementia. But he gets really wound up and just starts flipping. So i named him Magnus the Flip. He doesn't get along with my ferrets at all.

I have an albino hamster. He's extremely cute, and he's over a year old now. Not much reward though other than the cuteness - like most hamsters he's oblivious to the company and just wants to sleep, eat and escape...

My sister* had a hamster a long long time ago. It got loose one day, and scurried under the fridge. Somehow, in trying to coax the little fella out, my sister and my mom wound up dropping the whole thing on the poor rodent.

I've always felt sorry for hamsters.

I'm sorry, Epi, all this dead hamster talk has to be a kind of let down. I hope your hamster lives a long and happy life.
