Another reason to drink good beer

The Wake Forest University paper published an article where they put 20 college kids in a room and did a blindfolded beer taste test. The beers covered the piss spectrum from Milwaukee's Best to Bud Ice. Guess which beer won for best tasting in every demographic they tested? O'Douls. O-FUCKING-DOULS! A non-alcoholic beer! This proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that drinking beer with absolutely no alcohol is better than drinking moose urine maco-brewed beer.

well it depends on what you're after. If you like the taste of beer, O'Douls all the way. If you want to drink good beer that will give you the effects that people want. Heiniken, or if you can get your hands on it, Spaten and other beers of that sort.

O'Doul's is horrid. I've tried all the non-alky beers, praying for reprieve, and they taste like rotted barley or sour mash. The American alcohol-containing beers are watery and pathetic; at this point, I can only drink Duvel.

Heiny is OK if you get it non-skunked, which is quite a challenge. Even non-skunked, it's inferior beer, but it can be somewhat less inferior if handled right. Duvel. Try Duvel.

It's nice to see that dispite how nasty the Beast is, it's still one of the most popular beers. So much for the old quality over quanity saying.

I actually ordered an O'Douls and a shot of Jager one time at a titty bar. Exactly what was passing as logic that particular night, I'll never know.

PBR isnt even PBR anymore. They sold out the label when they went under a long time ago. So now someone else makes a beer and slaps the PBR label on it to make a good sum of money because people think its cool to drink PBR.

If i were to eat a good meal and drink it would be guinness.

duvel is good but costs a shit load
as does delirium tremens (it has cute pink elephants on the bottle though, and it's 9%)

Personally I think most beers taste foul (which the exceptions of Grolsch, Kirin and Molson) if I can't have one of those (which I rarely can) I'll just drink alcopops or cola. It's interesting that a non-alcoholic beer won the taste test, but wasn't given it's rightfull place as Numbero Uno as it didn't contain alkyhol...

-Paulaner, same.
-Jolly Roger, Maritime Pacific's winter brew that gets the job done right.
-Jingle Ale, Orchard Street Brewery's winter brew that tastes way better than Jolly Roger.
-Boundary Bay Brewery's Porter, Imperial IPA, and Scotch Ale.
-A million other obscure beers that are imported from Europe and taste way better than anything being brewed in these United States.
-And of course, PBR. I think I'll go grab one from the fridge right now, in fact.
