If you're like me, you could not be more ambivalent about looking at pictures of people's kids. They all look similar to me, they're all varying shades of adorable, and they're all just flat not interesting to me. Unless they're flipping someone off or playing with something extremely dangerous, I just don't care. Kids in person are different. But pictures of children? I humor parents that foist them on me mainly because it'd be rude not to.

I thought that nothing could change this.

I was wrong.
