Just got the game and spent 6 hours checking it out last night.

I love grand theft auto its the best entertainment for the dollar on the planet and san andreas is just more of the same with better graphics, higher profile stars, and better music.

I have to say I miss Tommy but Carl is just fine and you can give him a yellow afro so who am I to complain.

Did I mention that I like beating up whores with a cue stick even more than a baseball bat?

Ok well I have to run over old homeless people in a 93 cadi whilst I listen to slick rick.

Maybe ill get an eyepatch too.

WHOOPIE!!!

Only people who are unhappy with thier own life bemoan other people when they seem complacent.

Im sure your life is just one dynamic event after the other just like a rock star.

If you keep on working at being cool your daddy might accept you but excuse me if I dont give a fuck what you think.

video games have there place. plus where else can you get away with slaughtering so many people? Polygons maybe, but fun yes. I'm not always complacent with games, sometimes I get fucking pissed at games. San Andreas makes me feel good to be a gangster, as well as shooting people while I'm riding my bike, just to get a nicer bike. rock. oink

Thanks for the tip, that helps.

Anyway, I'm about midway through the game, and am a bit disappointed that the turf wars in Los Santos haven't continued through the rest of the game. Still, it's fun and I've not really done too much of the extra shit, like robbing houses and the dating thing. But it's definitely fun, if frustrating as hell at times. I'm certainly not looking forward to another rythym-based game after that one on the beach. I mean, I could do it fine, right up until they started throwing those long ass sequences at you.

Oh, and on the second mission, you have to go around the house to an alley behind the place. That was confusing to me too. After that I think you climb up on a buidlng. I remember I had problems, but I can't remember if there was a third tag in between those two.

Edited a third time to ask if I'm the only person in the entire world who really doesn't give a flying fuck about Halo 2? I thought the first one was nothing more than okay, and I'm feeling lonely in that opinion. The alien bases were so fucking nondescript and the combat seemed pretty standard to me.

on the radar, they are the green squares. just go to them. after the mission is over, there are still a bunch more, but they are kinda like finding the secret packages from the previous GTA games

I AM ABSOLUTELY ADDICTED TO THIS GAME!!!!!

i spent from 11pm to 8 in the morning the other night completing missions. i'm having such a hard time choosing between being on sg or playing this game. it's like the two most powerful addictions fighting for my attention.

ok who else is in love with the fact at different houses you can play video games on a mini console. or that you can play pool or arcade games at the bar or 24-7? and has anyone noticed that your first girlfriend denise is crazy as a loon and that the crazier you act with her on drive-byes the more she digs you. whatever biggrin

man! now i want to play again and i've been trying to limit myself to playing only at night.

Well, I would say yes. Especially since the store I got my preorder slip from back in April said that they had over 1k on preorder...and that was just one small mall shop.

they aren't on the map. they're just on that circular mini map on the screen when you're playing. and if it still bothers you you could go and buy the guide and it will tell you the exact position of each tags you have to find throughout the whole game.

a lot of them seem to be on the sides of houses so jump a lot of fences to look around back neighborhoods.

hmmm? well then buddy you're going to have to find them on your own. wink or go out right now and buy the guide. i wish we had of but i didn't have enough to get it at the same time. this game is the ONLY luxury i've allowed myself to indulge in and we still had to take out a loan to afford it. but it's soooo worth it!!!!
