Is the age of the blonde over? I've really started noticing it recently that everywhere I look blondes are super rare, seemingly non-existant some times.

In the last few weeks I have been in bars multiple times where there were literally hundreds of women and not a SINGLE blonde.

I also notice that now the majority of my friends, and people in general when the topic comes up, will say "i prefer brunettes." Is this a real preference? Is this the result of the 90s and early 2000s when EVERY woman was blonde and it was almost cliche to be blonde?

Thoughts? Theories?

So this is a New York thing? Is the rest of the country not suffering from this drought?

I think it might be a "the few bars you visited" thing.

Where the heck in NY is there a lack of blondes? They're everywhere here!
I wish there were more blue-haired girls, though.

It doesn't count when they're just laying next to the furnace.

omg where? I never see any. Not even in class. My school is 80% female, and there is MAYBE 1 blonde in each of my classes, and it's usually the same girl. I'd say in my entire graduate program there's like 5.

You emit a pheromone that changes women's hair color from blonde.

I'd be disturbed too, if I found out my physiology caused women's hair to change colors.

Interesting point: furnaces do not run off of souls.

Flaxen hair is pretty good tinder, though.

I read quite sometime ago that truly blonde women are becoming more and more rare. I can't remember where, but it was interesting.

whatever. I love blondes. I'm a blonde and I come from a mostly blonde family. I guess part of me is just genetically predisposed to want to continue to line.
