I don't know about you, but this book made a big impact on who I am today. As such, I thought it deserved a thread for any that want to reflect & share their thoughts and feelings on this important piece of literature.
For me, it's a story about friendship, cooperation, and standing up for what you believe in (even if it's not popular). Values that I still hold close to my heart.
My second grade teacher read it to our class, and I was really moved as a child. I re-read it as an adult and cried my eyes out when it was over... such a wonderful story.
