"Reservoir Dogs." "True Romance." "Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas."

Chris Penn may not have won any Oscars, but his slightly whiny voice and unique look made its way into our homes anyway.

But unfortunately, Penn is another example of a Hollywood life cut short.

Actor Chris Penn, brother of Sean Penn, was found dead Tuesday at a condominium near the beach in Santa Monica, police said.

Police said they discovered the 40-year-old actor's body around 4 p.m. Lt. Frank Fabrega said there were no obvious signs of foul play.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death, authorities said.

He was Sean Penn's brother too. I first noticed him in Footloose...I think he was boyfriend to the Sara Jessica Parker character. Always felt like I liked the guy.
