Pat Robertson recorded an appearance for Michael Eisners talk show last week, where he was handed his own ass. Eisner, host of Conversations with Michael Eisner, surprised Robertson by challenging the televangelist on some touchy issues. The touchy subjects included Robertsons thoughts on heavens acceptance of Jews, and his call for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.
Immediately after the battle, Robertsons PR machine fired off emails to CNBC executives, complaining of the interviews angle.
The e-mail complained: "The interview was not at all what we expected. Mr. Eisner covered the business end of things as promised, but then challenged Dr. Robertson on some extremely controversial political issues including gay rights, Hugo Chavez and whether or not Jewish people go to heaven.
"We were all very disappointed that Mr. Eisner chose to go in this direction."
Eisner and Robertson clashed in the media several years ago; Robertson publicly criticized Eisner, The CEO of Disney at the time, for offering health-care benefits to his gay employees life partners.
The smackdown airs Tuesday evening on CNBC.

Say what you want, but clearly the man knows how to rock.
Gee, somebody went on a TV news interview show and got pitched something other than softball questions? By somebody the subject had previously castigated?
Shocking!
If Robertson truly believes the tripe he spouts - rather than just spouting randomly - then he should have no problem handling the questions.
