leg warmers + Okinawa = HUGE

I've seen them with sandals before. Embarassing? Hm...I don't know.

Leg warmers CAN work. They can be sexy, trendy, retro, elegant (think ballet), punk, metal, thrash - street.

But...the above mix is just....blah. Dorky.

ugh. the legwarmers are dragging on the dirty streets of berlin. i don't know how dirty they actually are... but i recall them not being clean enough to drag legwarmers along.

the thing that bothers me about these "articles" isn't just that all the people dress like retards, but that there's no commentary on the photos whatsoever, they're just plopped into the page leaving us all with a big "wtf."

if i dressed like that, i imagine this is what my fiance would be saying

VICE magazine would say something like:

"At first, we weren't sure whether to put this in the DO's or DON'Ts. On the one hand its got all the ingredients for a great look: Leg warmers, short skirt, foreign babe. But when you mix that with flip-flops, a flip flop pendant, and animal prints under stripes and it's time to say 'Auf Weidersehen' to your boner. "

I'm really intrigued by this flip-flop super-culture. I love tacky fashion. Ich Don't Think So!
