What makes Don Coscarelli unique amongst the masters of horror is that the majority of his films are good. With four kickass Phantasms and one excellent Bubba Ho-tep making up the majority of his films, it's obvious to see why. Now he can add Incident on and off a Mountain Road, which was the premiere episode of the anthology series, to that list. Directed and co-written by Don Coscarelli and based on a story by Joe R. Lansdale, Incident is about young woman [Bree Turner] who gets into an accident on a lonely...

Incidents on and off mountain road was ok. I wouldn't call it the best out of the MOH series though.

I've seen all of the MOH, and there was only a select few that I found actually good.

now, dreams in the witch house was FUCKING A+ for being absolutely FUCKED. haha

Fair haired child was GREAT, only it completely rips off chris cunninghams rubber johnny.

and Sick girl was HILARIOUS! biggrin

I definately recommend seeing all of them anyways though, accept John carpenters cigarette burns.
come on john, you can do better then that!

Saw Incident On and Off a Mountain Road last night and thought it was okay. It had some good gore in it and moments of suspense but lost a bit of it's luster towards the end. Moon face wasn't played up enough or allowed to be as scary and creepy as he could have been. Once he entered the picture the rest of the film was of him getting his ass kicked by the heroine turning the movie into something as scary as an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Not to mention the guy she married in the movie, and the main point of the movie, was a total nut job from the begining. I think I would have enjoyed the flick more if I didn't have to buy into the premise so much and the character of Moonface had been explored a lot better.
