This is the same idea about the Top 100 Movies....

Tell me 10 books that you consider to be better than any other book you have ever read...

This list will include all genres... so you can add fiction and non-fiction... (graphic novels are welcomed but please don't list series only stand alone stories)

The books on your list do not have to be in the order that you like them.

On December 25, 2006 I will post two list... the first will be the Top 100 books from the Suicide Girls... and the second list will be from everyone.

Mike

I'm also gathering info for Top Movies and Top Album... it should be pretty easy to find the other topics.

Ishmael is amazing.

And I always considered the Lord of the Rings trilogy to be one book. I have the red leatherbound book that my mum bought back in the day when it came out. The entire thing is just too good to count as three seperate books! heh.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy
the Stranger
Still Life with Woodpecker
Brave New World
the Electric KoolAid Acid Test
Merlin trilogy
the Fountainhead
the Fabric of the Cosmos

That might be a good idea. Series like LOTR and Merlin (two off the top of my head) I know I consider to be just a lump--I'm sure others do too.

I want to read the Story of B, but haven't gotten around to ordering it yet. Have you read any others, have any suggestions for his?
I've bought three of my friends, and my boyfriend, Ishmael just because I think it's just so good! It should be required reading.

Damn straight. Alfred Bester is the Rodney Dangerfield of science-fiction: he doesn't begin to get enough respect.
