Does not having tattoos make you a bad person?

I wouldn't have thought so, but so many people recently have asked me why I don't have any I'm starting to wonder. My boy runs a piercing studio, and I run the desk for him sometimes. Now, I have heaps of piercings but no tattoos,because I know exactly what I want done but have just never had the money.But all these customers are coming in and saying things like "Oh I would have thought for sure you'd have heaps of tats" etc etc

Why? Do I NEED to?Is it necessary?

hey I'm not too fond of it myself. It's not like I base my self-worth on my body modifications,but I am just curious about this massive assumption that I should have them. I've never encountered it before-lots of other assumptions but not that particular one.

tattoos arent always expensive... when i got my first one, i asked the guy about how the pricing works here in australia. he said to me that they have to charge a minimum of $50 and then $50 every half hour there after. whether or not this is true, or was just relevant to the particular tat shop - i dont know.

but in answer to said question - not having body mods doesnt make you a bad person. its personal preference as to what you do to your body. i myself, love tattoos and piercings and am planning the next few...

Does having bad tattoos make you a better or worse person than having no tattoos? Piercings are just for people who don't plan on flying or entering Federal buildings, at least if they do they like to make a show of themselves.

a lot of people are surprised when they look at me, with 11 tattoos and 6 piercings, that my fiance' has only 1 tattoo and 1 piercing...and that tattoo he has, he only has becuz of me.
It's like he shouldn't like me because I have more than him or something.
