I have had comic book images that have stayed with me since I was a kid. Iconic illustrations that have been a huge influence on my work. What was your favorite comic book? Who did you love as an artist? Is there an image that still haunts you? I'm looking to chat it up with some fellow geeks here guys and gals.

I will say that some of the black and white art from the original Crow will stay with me forever.

the final issue of fabian nicieza's run on x-men was great. Honestly, it was damn perfect.
Followed by Deadpool 67 and Cable/Deadpool 15

Lessee...
Watchmen is stunning.
I adore Titan (the Games Workshop Adeptus Mechanicus giant walker thing).

I think my favourite might have to be From Hell - a darker tale is hard to think of.

I get depressed thinking about how I haven't read the Starman books that aren't covered in the trades.

And how I have read that horrible, horrible issue of Shazam.

Currents: Runaways, Fell, DMZ, Y the Last Man, Planetary.

One of my favorite shots of all time is the double splash page that shoulda been in Infinity Guantlet #5...I think. Either way, it's a two page image of a bunch of the Marvel cosmic beings ripping into Thanos. Sadly, it's got an ad in the middle. blackeyed I'm sure it's corrected in the trade, but I have the issues.

Man...the death of Elektra, Batman facing off Supes in Dark Knight Returns...most of the major shots in Dark Knight Returns actually.

Theres a lot of stuff I like.
