FIRST PHOTO OF BRADGELINA'S BABY

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie made the gossip mags work hard for the first photos of their child Shiloh Nouvel.

All the weekly magazine editors were summoned to the offices of the Getty photo agency at Canal and Varick late Saturday night. "We were sequestered into separate and un-air-conditioned offices," said one. "The photos were shown to us around 10 p.m. to midnight, and then we had to submit bids by 6 a.m. Sunday morning. No one got any sleep at all, as it was a manic game of phone-tag to top each other's bids. I'm convinced it was Brangie's revenge on the weekly magazines."

Overseas rights went to Hello, while People magazine scooped up stateside rights. The couple received over $4 million for the first photo of the happy family. But proving themselves to be utterly teflon once again, the family Bradgelina plan to divide the money from the photo to various charitable orginazations.

JACK BLACK WORRIED OVER IMPENDING FATHERHOOD

Jack Black admitted he's terrified of becoming a father, which is a shame; his pregnant wife is due in the next few weeks.

The King Kong star and musician wife Tanya Haden are expecting a baby any day and have already tentatively named him Samuel. But Black is worried his troubled childhood - in which his parents split in a messy divorce when he was just 10 - could affect his parenting skills.

He says, "It's scary. I haven't read any books on the subject. What if I mess him up? What scares me is that someone's going to have to give him discipline, and what am I going to do? I can't imagine myself in that role because I've been so undisciplined in my life and it's served me well. That might fall on Mama's (Haden's) shoulders."

This is the couple's first child, therefore, it is their first opportunity to torture a kid with a fucked-up baby name.

DAVE GROHL: NOT DEAD YET

Suicide Girls homeboy Dave Grohl just learned of his recent death; Grohl and his wife Jordyn received several condolences after several websites erroneously reported he met an untimely death.

"I got a phone message from a friend saying, 'Er, I guess . . . Jordyn, this is maybe for you. I'm so sorry to hear what happened,' " he tells British mag NME. "They were leaving a message on my cellphone saying, 'I'm sorry Dave died.' " Not one to let death get him down, Grohl was quick to put things in perspective: "I guess I've finally graduated to the status of being an Internet rumor. It weirded me out a bit, but it's stupid. I'm like a cockroach. Don't worry. I'll be around for a long time."

Congratulations, Dave! You're not dead.

I love it! Making the tabloid reps sweat it out in un-airconditioned rooms in an overnight bidding war for pictures. If that isn't poetic justice I don't know what is.

You can't but I can......

Dave Grohl isn't dead but his career is. His career is deader than Kurt Cobain.

I feel for the citizens of Namibia, of which countless thousands have been killed by mercenaries on People Magazine's payroll in a desperate coup attempt- they need the new ambassador working for THEM.

I think that's been said by every parent to-be.

Weird as this may sound, I haven't seen a photo of Dave Grohl in *years*. And he's still hot. (So's his wife!)
