She's lovely, but Battle In Heaven was crap. I'm sure I didn't entirely "get it", but from what I got out of it, I didn't miss much. The imaginery was nice and Reygadas used sound in a pretty clever way in a couple of scenes, but mostly it was just overly pretentious artschool wankery.

I really liked Jap�n though, so that made BiH's awfulness even more depressing.
