i guess my point is that i don't feel it's a good thing to judge the entirety of a person based solely on one aspect of their personality.
So, you're not one to do this behavior then?
Never find yourself jumping to conclusions about what a person is saying, and then jumping to conclusions about what they believe, because they have a stance you disagree with?
i do agree that all people judge others at least on occassion, if not more frequently. in all honesty of some guy was saying that black people weren't equal with white people, i'd probably think "wow, that guy seems like an asshole".
Hell, you are you, I am me. To hell with everything else, if someone gives you crap for how you dress or act, they're too insecure with their own identity to accept someone else's lifestyle. I get crap from my, well, coworkers all the time for dressing in black, my (formerly) long hair, and listening to metal, as opposed to cowboy hats and country music, and I usually just turn up the volume on my headphones.
In the end, don't be phased by them, if someone is so set on pointing you out for looking different, then they need to re-examine their heads.
