Lloyd Kaufman is crazy. Not just in that “I direct Troma movies” kind of way but they kind of crazy you don’t understand until you work for someone. When I worked on Tromeo & Juliet ten years ago I found that Kaufman can make a strong woman cry. But no matter what happened he was always pleasant to me. I’m not sure why, maybe it was because I make a damn good cup of coffee. But also no matter how bad the shit got while working on that flick I still managed to enjoy myself. Hell I was working on a...

My friend Gabe went to a Troma movie in New York five, six years ago. It was completely empty except for one lonely fellow who turned out to be Lloyd Kaufman. He gave him a bunch of random things and talked all night. He wouldn't leave him alone however and Gabe had to politely find his escape in a crowded bar. But an extremely nice guy.

Lloyd is my hero! I love Troma. My Mommie raised me on them. What a week. Patton and Kaufman interviews. This is like the best week ever.

Check out the trailer for Poultrygeist at poultrygeistmovie.com -- not only is it a fantastic film, but several SuicideGirls flew up to appear in it. One of my favorites, Zui enjoys a fantastic cameo in one of the musical numbers. (A sneak preview of a shot in that number can be seen in the Calimari Safari music video, also available at poultrygeistmovie.com.)

Keep your eyes peeled for a Fall 06 release!

It is DEFINATELY a Spidoinkle Day whenever you get to speak to the man himself...I can say that, Yes, TROMA has saved my Sanity at times...(And can you believe that a Dario Argento film was actually put out by these guys, not to mention the well-groomed TROMA familiar, Eli Roth!)

And C'Mon! Who can forget that it was a family of Kauffmans that made MOTHER'S DAY exactly what it is still revered for...(C'mon...even his Mother!!?)

Great Interview...You know its a good one when Lloyd does all the talking...Nice one!

GoHo Out.
