the concept of this show is awesome. some dude went into a pitch meeting and said, "okay, okay, i've got it. what's really popular? The OC? Desperate Housewives? Reality TV? put em together, biing bang boom, you've got a hit."

i *adore* this show. what's particularly wonderful is that the people in it end up being more interesting than you originally anticipate - so you start to emphatize and get sucked in for real.
